You can put them in all types of shoes or boots, however as some shoes or boots do not all have the same interior shape, it may be that the fit you made previously in a narrow shoe is not suitable then for example for a ski boot. It is best to buy insoles for each type of shoe with a different shape.
The choice of type of soles depends on two criteria: in the order section of the site you will find the explanations for each type of sole.

It is recommended to clean them regularly depending on how you use them by removing them from your shoes and cleaning the surfaces with a soft damp cloth and a little soap. Let them dry in the open air for a few hours at room temperature after washing.
After washing them or simply to leave them dried after use, remove them from your shoes or leave them a surface in the open air at room temperature. Never put them on a hot surface such as a heater or any other direct heat source. This could damage them definitely.
For some people who have never worn a custom insole, it may happen that they feel pressure at the arch. The arch is a sensitive part of the foot and as not each person has the same level of sensitivity. This can cause temporary discomfort. It’s therefore recommended to wear your soles at a rate of hour per day and to progress an extra hour each day until the discomfort disappears and you can wear them as you see fit.
The covering materials used are of remarkably high quality. However, some people may have a sweating problem of the feet. Their foot sweat as acid and burns materials. This problem prematurely causes a deterioration in the color of the materials, which is normal but does not remove the functionality or performance of the insoles.
